We don't collect your personal data. There's no account to create, no server your content is sent to, and no analytics tracking your behavior. Everything you add to Memoranda — your cards, quotes, and review history — stays on your device.
None. Memoranda does not require you to create an account, does not ask for your name, email, or location, and does not use analytics or advertising SDKs. We have no server that your device communicates with, so we have no way to see the contents of your deck or how you use the app.
All content you create — cards, quotes, review history, and app settings — is stored locally on your device. It stays there until you delete it yourself (by editing or removing cards in the app) or uninstall the app. Memoranda does not back up or sync this data to any cloud service.
Memoranda uses Google Fonts to render some of the text styling in the app. This may involve your device requesting font files from Google's servers, which can expose standard technical information (like your IP address) to Google, governed by Google's own privacy practices. This is the only third-party network request Memoranda makes, and no content from your deck is included in it.
App stores (the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) collect their own information as part of distributing and running the app on your device — installs, crash reports, device information, and so on — governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
Memoranda is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children, consistent with the fact that we do not collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes — for example, if we ever add a feature that involves data leaving your device — we'll update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
